With great pride that we introduce to you the members of our first-ever Junior School Council 2024.
From campaigning actively to sharing their ideas through speeches the democratic voting process exposed students to fundamentals of leadership and democracy and also empowered them to take ownership of their school community.
Students cast their votes for house captains and vice-captains digitally, by selecting their preferred candidates on the voting platform. For the head boy and head girl positions, a traditional ballot box voting system was used. Once their votes were cast, students had their index fingers marked to signify their participation in the democratic process.
Congratulating the GGS Karate Team for bagging a total of 8 medals ( 3 Gold, 2 Silver and 3 Bronze) in 15th UP- State Inter school Karate Tournament held at YMCA, Grater Noida, recently.
Congratulating DP 1 student Ayaan Srivastava for clinching the Silver Medal (U-19 Boys) in the recently concluded U P State Inter-School Chess Championship 2024 held at Indus Valley School, Noida.
Congratulating team member Ms. Virottama Chopra , CBSE German Language teacher, for receiving a scholarship for 3-weeks Professional Development course in Dresden, Germany.
Awarded by the Goethe-Institut/ Max Mueller Bhavan, New Delhi, this immersion opportunity will not only help her to improve her teaching skills, but also give her a wider exposure to Germany and its culture.
